 Broccoli and Mushroom Stir Fry 


  Ingredients:

  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 10 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  Instructions:

  1. Prepare the sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Cook the broccoli: Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 30 seconds, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Stir-fry: Heat oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and cook until they release moisture and brown. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Then add broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the sauce: Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir until it thickens.
  5. Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately.
