 Velvety Crème Brûlée Cheesecake


  Ingredients: 

Cheesecake Base:

2 cups crushed graham crackers

1/2 cup melted butter

3 blocks (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 eggs

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Topping:

1/4 cup granulated sugar


Directions:


Crust Creation: Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into a springform pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes.


Cheesecake Layer: Beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Blend in vanilla and eggs, one at a time, then add heavy cream. Pour over crust.


Bake: Bake for 50 minutes, allowing the edges to set while the center jiggles slightly. Cool at room temperature, then chill in the fridge overnight.


Caramelize the Top: Sprinkle sugar on the cheesecake and use a blow torch to melt it into a golden crust.

Enjoy: Let the topping set before serving.
