Ingredients:
300g (10 oz) penne pasta
2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
2 cups broccoli florets
3 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook Pasta and Broccoli:
Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
Add broccoli florets to the boiling pasta water for the last 3 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
2. Cook Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
3. Prepare Cream Sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
4. Add Parmesan Cheese:
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
5. Combine Everything:
Add cooked pasta, broccoli, and chicken to the skillet.
Toss to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
6. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
